Where Are You Located?
Ackah Business Immigration Law is headquartered in Calgary, Canada, with offices in Vancouver and Toronto. We work with clients in Canada, the U.S., and around the globe — in person, by phone, by email, or via Skype.

How Much Will It Cost?
Every case is unique, and requires complicated paperwork and preparation. If it were easy to immigrate to Canada, you wouldn’t need an immigration lawyer. It takes a significant amount of work and knowledge.
Immigration applications can be refused due to minor oversights and omissions that can delay or negatively impact your business or your family reunifications plans. By not using a lawyer you can be putting your business and your family at risk. Schedule a consultation with Ackah Law to discuss your unique situation.

Can Ackah Law Help People Who Want to Go to School in Canada?
Can Ackah Law help people get a Study Permit and Temporary Visa if they want to go to school in Canada or the United States? Yes, Ackah Law can help you get a Study Permit for Canada. We cannot help you get into the school of your choice: you have to do the research and fill out the paperwork to get approved for the academic institution you want to attend.
Once you are accepted to a learning institution in Canada or the United States, we can help you get a Study Permit, and if needed for your home country, a Temporary Student Visa. We can't counsel you on which schools are better, or where you should apply. Our role as your legal counsel is to guide you once you have been accepted and can prove you can support yourself financially while in school.
-
Does Ackah Law Help People Find Jobs in Canada or the U.S.?
No, Ackah Law does not help people find employment so they can enter Canada or the United States as workers. Our role as immigration lawyers and paralegals is to help you get immigration papers after you have been offered a position by a Canadian or United States employer. We help you get your paperwork together and approved so you can come to Canada. Our expertise is legal only: once you have a job in Canada or employer who is willing to sponsor you to come to Canada or the United States, we can help you get your immigration papers.

I Applied for An Immigration Visa On My Own and It Was Denied. Can I Apply Again?
Failed Immigration Applications: Can I Apply Again?
At Ackah Business Immigration Law, we frequently get calls from people who filed their immigration application on their own and it was denied. They want to know what they can do after their immigration application is refused. I have to tell them that now that a refusal is on record, it's going to be even harder to get your immigration application approved.
It might have been easy to fill out your immigration application on your own 20 or 30 years ago, but today immigration is becoming much more complicated and nuanced, and its harder to fix a mistake you made on your application that led to a refusal than to do it right the first time.
Consider using an immigration lawyer to help you through the application process so you can pursue your personal and business goals in Canada. -
