Ackah Business Immigration is honoured to be nominated for two awards during Small Business Week Calgary by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be announced during the Small Business Week Calgary Awards Show happening the evening of October 19, 2018 as part of the Small Business Week Calgary.
The People’s Choice Award is presented to a Calgary small business that demonstrates they have the support of their community. This award is the only Small Business Week Calgary Award determined by public vote. Voting for the People’s Choice Award starts July 3 and continues through August 10, 2018.
The Innovation Award is presented to the Calgary small business that pushes conventional boundaries and is reshaping their industry through groundbreaking achievements in bringing innovation to market.

Evelyn Ackah, founder and managing lawyer, is proud to be a part of Calgary's thriving business community. Giving back is important to the Ackah Business Immigration Law team. We are proud to be part of Calgary’s thriving community. Throughout the year, we volunteer our time, giving donations and providing sponsorships to various organizations. Non-profit agencies that are close to our hearts are the Canadian Women's Foundation, YWCA, Samaritan's Purse and the Mustard Seed. In addition to these agencies, we also assist on a number of pro-bono files each year to individuals requiring our legal services from various communities across Canada.
We also share our business immigration law expertise, offering pro-bono legal immigration services to recognized non-profit agencies. We are honoured to help facilitate new opportunities for people and local businesses by providing corporate immigration counsel.
