Study Permits
In order to study in Canada, international students usually require a Study Permit. This is a document available only after a college, university or other accredited educational institution has accepted you. Study Permits are only available for schools designated to accept international students. Designated learning institutions appear on the official Designated Learning Institutions list, but only at the post-secondary level. Primary and secondary schools throughout the country are automatically deemed as designated institutions.
Ackah Law can help you get a Study Permit for Canada or the United States. But we cannot help you get into the school of your choice: you have to do the research and fill out the paperwork to get approved for the academic institution you want to attend.

Once you are accepted to a learning institution in Canada or the United States, we can help you get a Study Permit, and if needed for your home country, a Temporary Student Visa. We can not counsel you on which schools are better, or where you should apply. Our role as your legal counsel is to guide you once you have been accepted into your school of choice and can prove you can support yourself while in school.
